Dr. Cunningham is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in attachment, grief, and trauma across the developmental lifespan. Her work within each of these topics has cultivated several areas of specialization in her private practice including parenting support, strained family dynamics, pregnancy, medical complexities, and death.

Throughout her career, Dr. Cunningham has maintained a connection with medical settings. A significant amount of her training experiences have been within hospital and medical clinic settings. Dr. Cunningham is passionate about providing high-quality care not only in private practice, but also inside medical settings. Medical events in our lives are often significant life experiences-experiences that warrant mental health support. At the moment, Dr. Cunningham splits her time between her practice, Otterly Connected and serving women in Charlotte, NC at Femwell Gynecology & Wellness.

When she is not pracitcing as a psychologist, Dr. Cunningham loves music. If she is around, music is playing. She enjoys yoga (stay tuned :) for new programming coming soon on that note!), writing, and comedy.
